In electrochemical processes the coating material is deposited from an aqueous solution of metal salts onto the carrier material under the influence of an electrical field. The choice of suitable electrolytes and their adaptability to rationalized production processes is of especial importance because, apart from the hight requirements made on the deposited layer, the economics of the process must also be taken into account. Savings up to 90 % in precious metals can be achieved in this way.
Solutions are worked out in co-operation with the customer for a very varied range of application problems:
- Contact parts and contact carriers
- Strips: total surface, partial or selective-stripe plating of strips
- Stamped parts in bulk or contiuous on retaining strips
- Pins for electrical and other applications
